Mi Ultimo Adios
So goes Jose Rizal’s final farewell letter before he was sentenced to death by firing squad and died as a hero.
So what’s up? Nothing much, just that I’ve had enough of this blog hosting site. It’s been really great and all, and I even hoped that I could make this the final one, but I’m just not satisfied with what I’m getting from this site.
I had this epiphany last January 18 when I wanted to join the SOPA strike. As you all know, I have other blogs that I maintain especially from Blogger, and comparing the two I was surprised that I was able to edit the HTML of one of the sites there compared to this one which was supposed to be “easier.” I know you have to pay in order to edit the CSS codes, but I was really appalled at that time and it’s a big inconvenience for my part.
I realize that I have to move again *sighs* and what was frustrating was that I COULDN’T EXPORT MY ENTRIES HERE WHILE I CAN IMPORT STUFF FROM OTHERS. That was clearly unfair and I had to move my entries here to my new blog manually. This is definitely the last straw. >_<
And so, I moved back to Blogger and made a new account. It seems like I really belong there, and I know that I already have an existing account but the old one wasn’t linked to my Google email. Plus, I didn’t want to revive my old personal blog and I want to leave its remnants as it is; readers from my old blog can understand this reason. The separation of accounts will also do me good for the other blog that I maintain.
I’m no hero like Rizal but this will be my final farewell. For my friends who read this blog who still wish to follow me and my endless ramblings (rofl), I leave this URL address. I hope you get to read my blog posts there. ^_^
I bid thee “Adieu”, Blog.com, it has been one heck of a ride. I’m going home.
